Hello and Welcome to my website.
I just wanted to take the opportunity for those of you who actually get this far into my website to introduce myself and give you a little background as to why I consider myself the ball machine MD. I have worked in pretty much every aspect of the industry of tennis in the last 30 years. I started playing from the time I could hold a racquet in my mind and started stringing racquets by the age of ten. By the time I was graduating College I was managing a 12 court seasonal club and a seperate retail storefront. Part of the work required at both locations required knowledge of ball machines, both from an operational and general maintenance side and sales and marketing side. In one location I had to maintain the equipment utilized by the membership and the other I had to sell and repair any machine that the consumer needed or wanted. 15 years ago I was offered the opportunity to exclusively work with ball machines full time. Since then I have seen pretty much everything that has happened in the world of throwing machines. I work on all makes and models and have witnessed pretty much every problem or potential problem that exists. While several of them can be taken care of via email the majority require a little patience, a lot of familiarity and the right tools. As I said at the beginning, Welcome, poke around and come back from time to time as I will add articles and repair stuff periodically. I am ready for any questions, quandaries or any disturbing issues you may encounter with your, not always reliable, automated partner.

Last year we tried replacing the batteries and that worked for a few hours until, what I am assuming is that the batteries died and were not getting a charge from the plug. The pack on the cord does light up green, but on my most recent attempt to fire it up, I got 4 beeps followed by what is now a consistent single beep. The wheels never started spinning and

We did some business together years ago when I was at the Silver Spring Country Club. I’m wondering if this is business is still active? If so, i’d like to speak with you about possibly purchasing a ball machine. Thanks. Hope all is well.
